91 Media takes home big win at the 2025 BSME Awards 

The trophy shelf at 91 Media continues to grow! 91 Media is excited to share that the teams behind National Geographic Traveller (UK) and Living360 were nominated across several key categories at the .  
 
On the night, Maria Pieri brought home the Editorial Director of the Year award — a milestone moment for 91 Media, coming just a few days after she was honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Travel Media award at TravYule – The Baubles 2025. 

Held at the Rosewood London on 27 November, the prestigious black-tie event brought together the biggest names in publishing to honour editorial excellence. 

BSME Winner: 

  • Editorial Director of the Year: Maria Pieri, overseeing the National Geographic Traveller()portfolio, Living360, Travel Media Awards (and the TMA Step Up scheme) and more. 

BSME Nominees: 

  • Art Director of the Year: Becky Redman,National Geographic Traveller()
  • Cover of the Year – Independent: Becky Redman,National Geographic Traveller ()
  • Editor of the Year – Travel: Pat Riddell,National Geographic Traveller()
  • Editor of the Year – Sport, Health & Fitness: Mattie Lacey-Davidson, Living360 

Maria Pieri said: “It’s been quite a year, and this feels like recognition of the collective effort behind it. The teams across National Geographic Traveller (UK) and Living360, as well as the Travel Media Awards and Step Up scheme, are thoughtful, curious and always committed to quality: smart storytelling, strong design and a willingness to push for better every time. That’s what I’m proudest of. I’m grateful to head up this group of quirky, talented individuals, and excited for what we do next.” 

These accolades celebrate creativity, leadership and innovation across magazine publishing produced in the UK in 2025 and define 91 Media’s approach to storytelling and design.  

The BSME Awards are among the most respected honours in the media industry, recognising editors and creative leaders who shape the future of publishing.
